MANILA, Philippines – SB19 is marking a new milestone in their careers, and it comes in the form of their newly announced “Simula at Wakas” world tour.
In an exclusive interview with Billboard published on Wednesday, February 12 (Manila time), the P-pop boy group revealed that they would be making stops across the world. It will start in Bulacan, Philippines, at the Philippine Arena, on May 31, as previously revealed in their Simula at Wakas EP teaser.
This will be followed by a stop in Taipei, Taiwan in June.
In July, the “GENTO” hitmakers will be spending most of their time in the United States and Canada, as they are set to hold six shows across California, Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta.
In August, they will head to Honululu, Hawaii, and Singapore. In October, they will head to the Middle East for shows in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Doha, Qatar; and Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
Dates and venues are being finalized for Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
This announcement comes months before the release of their Simula at Wakas EP on April 25. The first single from the EP will drop on February 28.
Composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, SB19 made their debut in October 2018 under ShowBT Philippines. They are best known for their hits “GENTO,” “Moonlight,” “MAPA,” “Freedom,” “Go Up,” and “Where You At?” – Rappler.com
